Licensure by Certification of Credentials

PURPOSE:

Changes to the rule and its incorporated Form DH-SPA-1, Application for License as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist by Evaluation of Credentials, are being made to comply with a new background screening requirement for applicants for licensure that will become effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with Chapter 2024-243, Laws of Florida.

SUMMARY:

Changes to the rule and its incorporated Form DH-SPA-1, Application for License as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist by Evaluation of Credentials, are being made to comply with a new background screening requirement for applicants for licensure that will become effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with Chapter 2024-243, Laws of Florida.
