RULE:

6A-1.0995	Form of High School Diplomas and Certificate of Completion
6A-1.09963	High School Graduation Requirements for Students with Disabilities

PURPOSE:

During the 2025 Legislative Session, House Bill 1105 amended several statutes removing certificate of completion. These rules will be amended to implement the bill. Rule 6A-1.09963, F.A.C., will also be revised to update definitions and permissible course substitutions.

SUMMARY:

Rule 6A-1.0995 is amended to remove the certificate of completion. Rule 6A-1.09963 is amended to remove references to a certificate of completion and information about access points, access courses and the requirements for a standard diploma for students receiving instruction using access points.
