PURPOSE:

The proposed rulemaking will repeal all rules in Chapter 5M-5, F.A.C., Best Management Practices (BMPs) for the Peace River Manasota Basin Area and Citrus Grown in Other Flatwoods Soils.

SUMMARY:

Chapter 5M-5, F.A.C., Best Management Practices (BMPs) for the Peace River Manasota Basin Area and Citrus Grown in Other Flatwoods Soils, is no longer needed as Chapter 5M-16, F.A.C., Best Management Practices for Florida Citrus, adopts and incorporates BMPs applicable to all citrus production regions in the state.
