RULE:

68D-36.102	Definitions

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rulemaking effort is to update the language "Training Facility" to the language "Course Provider" to align with the modern delivery methods of how approved Florida boating safety courses are delivered as well as add language to provide consistency with the language in Florida statues.

SUMMARY:

The language of “Training Facility” within the rule is outdated and will be replaced with language which would be inclusive of online course providers. Other rule amendments edit language necessary for consistency between statute and rule.
