PURPOSE:

This rule chapter implements a program entirely implemented by Federal and State law and is being repealed.

SUMMARY:

This rule chapter sets forth procedures and requirements for the Single-Family Mortgage Revenue Bonds Program. The MRB uses the revenue from the Corporation’s sale of bonds to provide low-interest mortgages to eligible borrowers in the form of first-mortgages or down-payment and closing cost assistance options available under Corporation programs. Administration and operations of the MRB are governed by applicable federal requirements and program guidance, that together with existing statutory authority, render the rule chapter duplicative and unnecessary.
