RULE:

33-503.002

Marriage of an Inmate While Incarcerated

PURPOSE:

The amendment provides that, in addition to current mandatory scrutiny by a corrections officer chief, a staff psychologist or Health Service Administrator need only review those marriage requests involving inmates receiving inpatient levels of mental health care.

SUMMARY:

The purpose of the proposal is to improve efficiency by requiring an additional level of scrutiny only for specified inmate marriage requests.
