PURPOSE:

To conform and comply with new developments in the field of alcohol testing and with the needs of those affected by these rules.

SUMMARY:

Rule revisions pertain to the regulation and implementation of Florida's implied consent and alcohol testing program. The proposed revisions govern definitions of terminology; regulation of and qualifications for alcohol test permit holders; and use and maintenance of breath test instruments.
