Trauma Registry and Trauma Quality Improvement Program

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rule development is to gather input regarding the Trauma Registry and the Florida Trauma Data Dictionary located in the 2008 Florida Trauma Registry Manual. The Department plans to discuss amending the Trauma Registry to ensure the best collection of data, that all data collected can be measured against national benchmarks, and to discuss the Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) and whether TQIP should be utilized in Florida.
