Diabetes Management

PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of this rule amendment is to incorporate the updated National Association of School Nurses’ Position Statement. The position statement was updated in June 2013.

SUMMARY:

The rule is proposed for amendment to incorporate the updated National Association of School Nurses Position Statement.  This rule was developed in cooperation with the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) to address the management and care of students with diabetes.
