6A-6.0573

Industry Certification Process (Repealed)

PURPOSE:

Revise rule to reflect 2016 statutory changes and adopt the 
CareerSource Florida’s list of recommended industry certifications.

SUMMARY:

The amendment revises the rule and documents incorporated by reference as follows:  1) Adoption of the 2016-2017 CAPE Industry Certification Funding List; 2) Adoption of the industry certification recommendations from CareerSource Florida; and 3) technical wording changes. House Bill 7029 allows for funding for industry certifications earned through dual enrollment in certain circumstances. Additional language is added to implement this provision.
