Medicaid Fair Hearings

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the amendment to Rule 59G-1.100, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.), is to clarify definitions and the Agency for Health Care Administration’s (AHCA) hearing request policies.

SUMMARY:

The amendment specifies the definition of “good cause” and AHCA’s policy regarding waivers of the deadline for Fair Hearing requests.
