68A-25.003

Taking and Disposal of Nuisance-Alligators Statewide

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule amendment is to allow contracted nuisance alligator trappers to sell nuisance alligators alive.  The effect will be to eliminate the need for contracted trappers to purchase a License to Possess Class I and/or Class II Wildlife for Exhibition or Public Sale (ESA) to sell nuisance alligators alive.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule amendment would allow contracted nuisance alligator trappers to sell nuisance alligators alive without the need to purchase an ESA.
