PURPOSE:

The proposed rule will clarify definitions; update and incorporate forms by rule; update and clarify the requirements for cattle or bison being imported into the state to include official identification. Clarify requirements of Trichomoniasis Testing; clarifying requirements for importation of Swine including official identification. The proposed rule will also, clarify movement requirements of Cervids in accordance with State of Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Rule 68A-4.0051, F.A.C., clarify exemptions from the movement restrictions of Cervids; and add importation requirements of elephants.

SUMMARY:

Importation requirements for animals moving into Florida.
