PURPOSE:

Several rules within Chapter 62-600 are being revised to incorporate changes to referenced rules, and to update definitions. These revisions will support and be consistent with the necessary changes to Chapter 62-610 F.A.C. to be in compliance with the Florida Clean Waterways Act of 2020.

SUBJECT:

The Division of Water Resources Management is proposing amendments to Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 62-600, Domestic Wastewater Facilities which regulates the treatment and disposal of domestic wastewater. The proposed revision will update references and incorporate changes from 62-610, 62-302, and 62-550, F.A.C. These revisions are part of the Phase II updates to Chapter 62-610 F.A.C. as required by Florida’s Clean Waterways Act of 2020.
