Career Dual Enrollment Courses for Florida Education Finance Program Calculation

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this new rule is to adopt a process for the review and approval of postsecondary career dual enrollment courses for the additional FTE membership in the Florida Education Finance Program (FEFP). SB 240 (2023) amended the FEFP funding statute to add a value of 0.08 full-time equivalent student membership for each student who completes a career course through the dual enrollment program with a grade of “A” in a pathway that leads to an industry certification that is included on the CAPE Industry Certification
Funding List.
