Electric Utility Procedures for Generating Capacity Shortage Emergencies

PURPOSE:

To update the rule with the most current Florida Reliability Coordinating Council (FRCC) Generating Capacity Shortage Plan, which is incorporated into the rule.

SUMMARY:

The amendment incorporates by reference the updated, November 1, 2023, version of the FRCC Generating Capacity Shortage Plan, and adds information on how a copy of the incorporated material may be obtained. Other revisions are designed to provide consistency and clarity to the rule language.  Docket No. 20240080-EI
