Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Curriculum Approval Process

PURPOSE:

The proposed rule amendment revises rule language to reflect amended statutory language and remove outdated policies. Additionally, the amendment removes incorporated forms from the rule and replaces them with references to where the curriculum approval specifications, policies and procedures for VPK curriculum approval will be located. This provides the Department with the necessary flexibility to revise these documents without requiring rule development each time procedures are updated.
