Emergency Opioid Antagonists in Florida College System Institution Housing

PURPOSE:

Chapter 2023-184, Laws of Florida, requires Florida College System institutions and direct support organizations that own or operate residence halls and dormitory residences to have a supply of emergency opioid antagonists in each facility.

SUMMARY:

The rule is being amended so that it aligns with HB 1255 (2025) to update statutory language which removes reference to the drug Naloxone.
