Use of Prescribed Pancreatic Enzyme Supplements

PURPOSE:

This amendment will update the language to more closely align with current State Board of Education rules. The rule will align with Rule 6A-6.0251, F.A.C., Use of Epinephrine Auto-injectors and Anaphylaxis Policy and Rule 6A-6.0253, F.A.C., Diabetes Management.

SUMMARY:

The self-administration of pancreatic enzymes medication by students diagnosed with pancreatic insufficiency of cystic fibrosis.
