64-4.216	MMTC Authorization Procedures
64-4.223	Caregiver Background Screening and Request for Close Relative Status

PURPOSE:

Pursuant to Ch. 2025-199, § 15, Laws of Florida, this rulemaking initiates nonemergency rulemaking to replace emergency rules 64ER21-10 and 64ER23-2, adopted by the Department to implement section 381.986, Florida Statutes.

SUMMARY:

These rules set forth MMTC authorization procedures, background screenings for caregivers who are not identified as close relatives, and a process to substantiate close relative of a qualified patient status.
