PURPOSE:

To update and clarify the rules, including to incorporate current Uniform System of Accounts references, as well as to effectuate the statutory rule review mandated by 120.5435, F.S.

SUMMARY:

These proposed amended rules incorporate and implement the current National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners Uniform System of Accounts for Water Utilities and the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners Uniform System of Accounts for Wastewater Utilities (collectively, NARUC USOA), update the Commission forms which reference the NARUC USOA and which are incorporated by reference in the rules, update the reference to a current version of a Code of Federal Regulations provision, and provide necessary updates to conform to Commission practice and procedure.
