Florida College System Institution Safety Requirements

PURPOSE:

The new rule will address requirements outlined in House Bill 757 (2026) by defining terms and providing requirements for Florida College System institutions related to campus safety, including required plans, training, transfer of records, and adoption of a postsecondary model for threat management and associated forms.

SUMMARY:

A new rule is being adopted to address the implementation of House Bill 757 School Safety.
