69A-62.021

Minimum Requirements for a Firefighter Employer Comprehensive Safety and Health Program

PURPOSE:

All fire departments must have a safety and health program in place. Fire departments found to be in violation of any part of the rules pertaining to firefighter safety must also have a remediation plan, in addition to the safety and health program.

SUMMARY:

Fire departments must have safety and health programs and remediation plans must be in place for fire departments in violation of any part of the firefighter safety and health rules.
