PURPOSE:

Since the implementation of the Small Business Enterprise Rule, staff has discovered several areas of the rule that require clarification of the intent of the rule and so that the public will clearly understand the elements of the rule and its procedure. Therefore, staff is seeking to initiate rulemaking to clarify these inconsistencies.

SUBJECT:

The revisions to Chapter 40E-7, Part VI, of the F.A.C., concerning small businesses, participating in the district’s procurement and contracting activities.
