PURPOSE:

This amendment proposes to allow DACS to implement the National Shellfish Sanitation Program Vibrio parahaemolyticus Control Plan by: a) modifying the time limit harvesters have to deliver oysters to a certified shellfish dealer, b) adjusting container identification language, and c) modifying processing plant operation language.

SUBJECT:

The subject area to be addressed is protection of the health of shellfish consumers by allowing DACS to implement the National Shellfish Sanitation Program Vibrio parahaemolyticus Control Plan.
