PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of this rule is to specify, detail and clarify the importation requirements by species for animals and certain animal products into Florida from other states.

SUMMARY:

This rule proposes modifications and updates in the general requirements, definitions, and species-specific requirements, tests and documentation by complying with the current national disease status regarding interstate animal transportation, animal movement, and disease control.
