Immigration Bonds

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule is to clarify the type of license required to transact immigration bond business.

SUMMARY:

Proposed Rule 69B-215.080, F.A.C., provides that a general lines agent license (2-20) is required to transact surety bond business, including immigration bonds, and that a general lines agent license does not qualify the licensee to transact bail bond business.
