Ballot Process for Teacher and Parent Voting for Charter School Conversion Status.

PURPOSE:

The proposed rule will establish a ballot process by which teachers and parents may vote to support the conversion of their public school to charter school status. The effect will be a consistent process for all school districts.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule will establish a ballot process for teacher and parent voting as it relates to converting a public school to charter status.
