Procedures for Appealing a District School Board Decision Denying Application for Charter School

PURPOSE:

This rule is substantially rewritten to be consistent with governing statutes and to provide clear procedures for applicants as well as sponsors when addressing an appeal relating to the denial of a charter school application or termination, non-renewal, or immediate termination of an existing charter school. The effect is a rule consistent with law and which clearly outlines procedure relating to the denial of a charter school application or the termination, non-renewal or immediate termination of an existing charter school.

SUMMARY:

This rule is substantially rewritten to address procedures relating to the denial of a charter school application or the termination, non-renewal or immediate termination of an existing charter school.
