RULE:

68A-23.005

Bag Limits, Length Limits, Open Season: Freshwater Fish

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule change is to delete reference to Smith Lake in Washington County. The surrounding property was sold and public access is no longer allowed. Removal of the reference to Smith Lake will help prevent public confusion relative to accessing the lake and reduce superfluous rules in the fish and wildlife regulations.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule would delete the reference to Smith Lake (Washington County). The property has been sold and public access has been eliminated
