PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of this rule development notice is to address possible rule amendments for the general chapter in the 2019 calendar year related to the practice of chumming or as a result of other management or enforcement requirements.

SUBJECT:

Subject areas addressed in the rule development notice include marine fishery regulations that apply to multiple species or fisheries and other subjects encompassed by the above-cited rules.
