Lobbyist Registration

PURPOSE:

To implement the requirement that lobbyists register with the South Florida Water Management District and provide a uniform system for lobbyist registration, consistent with other water management districts.

SUBJECT:

Establish lobbyist registration for consistency with the newly enacted legislation (F.S. 112.3261 and SB 846) that became effective July 1, 2014.  This item affects all water management districts created in Section 373.069 F.S., which operate under the authority of Chapter 373.
