PURPOSE:

To ensure students with disabilities are properly identified and served under the requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and state laws. It is anticipated that this amendment will update the language and processes for intervention, evaluation, documentation and eligibility determinations for students suspected of having a disability, including those students parentally placed in private schools. Other changes may be considered.
