Determining a Substantial Deficiency in Early Mathematics Skills and Substantial Deficiency in Mathematics

PURPOSE:

This new rule will provide guidelines to determine whether a student in kindergarten through grade 4 has a substantial deficiency in mathematics or the characteristics of dyscalculia.

SUBJECT:

Kindergarten to Grade 4 Mathematics: Proficiency with the state academic standards for mathematics.
